Leans Transactional PM and less Governance

We're seeking an experienced SAP PM Team Lead to lead the day-to-day support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) within a complex SAP S/4HANA workplace. This is a hands-on functional leadership role responsible for supporting maintenance operations, leading a small team of SAP Functional Analysts, and partnering with business stakeholders to optimize maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of SAP Functional Analysts supporting SAP PM.
Support the end-to-end maintenance lifecycle, including maintenance notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance, scheduling, confirmations, and work order completion.
Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to gather business requirements and deliver practical SAP PM solutions.
Develop functional specifications and work closely with developers to deliver enhancements and system improvements.
Coordinate UAT, regression testing, production support, and monthly application releases.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing functional support for business-critical maintenance processes.
Support SAP PM integration with SAP MM,



including material reservations, inventory, and procurement processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance reliability, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Participate in SAP S/4HANA initiatives, with exposure to SAP Fiori and mobile maintenance solutions considered an asset.

Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on SAP PM functional experience supporting live production settings.
Solid understanding of transactional SAP PM processes, including notifications, maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, scheduling, confirmations, and equipment management.
Experience writing functional specifications, managing enhancements, and supporting production issues.
Proven ability to work directly with business users, developers, and cross-functional teams.
Experience leading or mentoring SAP Functional Analysts or technical teams.
SAP S/4HANA experience required; SAP MM integration experience preferred.
Experience within asset-intensive industries such as energy, utilities, mining, manufacturing, or transportation is highly desirable.
