Become an essential member of the Calgary Zone Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Physician Assistant. In this full time role at Foothills Medical Centre, you'll provide comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic cancers.
This position is within a supportive team of Gynecologic Oncologists, offering Monday to Friday shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM. You'll assess patients, communicate care plans, and assist in surgeries while ensuring continuity of care. Teaching opportunities for medical students and residents are also included, fostering career development in alignment with AHS policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide intra-operative care during surgeries
• Conduct patient assessments and create care plans




• Perform consultations and follow-up visits
• Assist in teaching medical students and residents
• Support multidisciplinary team collaboration
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Physician Assistant Program
• Active registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
• BCLS certification required
• Excellent communication skills
• Trauma-informed care competencies
