Help maintain safety and efficiency at the Shambhala Music Festival as an Equipment Operator in Salmo, BC. This full time role includes operating heavy machinery and performing daily maintenance tasks.
As a key member of our team, you will operate various SMF machinery, including telehandlers and excavators, while adhering to all safety protocols. Your duties involve performing pre-trip inspections, documenting maintenance, and communicating with supervisors about equipment conditions. Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate SMF machinery while following policies
• Complete daily safety inspections and forms
• Maintain machinery and report any performance issues




• Participate in daily tailgate meetings and hazard assessments
• Address safety concerns and suggest operational improvements
Requirements:
• Certification for heavy machinery operation required
• Extensive experience with telehandlers and loaders preferred
• Valid Class 5 license and clean driving abstract
• Experience in festival settings beneficial
• Excellent communication and safety compliance skills
