Your Responsibilities
You'll mentor and support a team of Salesforce Engineers while promoting engineering best practices and delivery excellence
In this role, you'll collaborate with architects to design scalable solutions across Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Personalization, and Loyalty Management platforms
You'll partner with marketing, analytics,
and data engineering teams to deliver business‑focused technology solutions
You'll drive integration strategies connecting Salesforce platforms with enterprise applications, middleware, web, mobile, and data environments
You'll ensure solutions align with security, privacy, compliance, and operational standards
Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience as a Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar enterprise platform development role, including 5+ years in a senior‑level capacity
2+ years of experience operating beyond the senior engineer level, such as Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Salesforce Solutions Architect, or an equivalent technical leadership role
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams within complex enterprise environments, with a strong focus on technical excellence and delivery
Expert‑level proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex (synchronous and asynchronous processing), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, External Services, and Named Credentials
Advanced expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including AMPscript, SSJS, Data Extensions, SQL, transactional messaging, API integrations,
deliverability management, and Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio)
Extensive experience designing and developing solutions within Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), including data streams, harmonization, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, and activation strategies
Proven experience building enterprise integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, webhooks, and event‑driven architectures, including error handling, monitoring, retry mechanisms, and scalability considerations
Strong knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, GitHub‑based source control, Salesforce DX, automated testing frameworks, environment management, and release governance
Solid understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements, including role‑based access controls, encryption practices, consent management, data residency considerations, and regulatory standards such as PIPEDA and CAN‑SPAM
Experience working with Salesforce Loyalty Management Cloud is considered a strong asset
Minimum of 8 Salesforce certifications required, with advanced certifications in architecture, development, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Loyalty Management, or related disciplines considered highly desirable
