This role leads cross‑functional project teams to safely deliver projects on scope, on schedule, and within approved cost, in alignment with Suncor’s Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) and stage‑gate project delivery requirements. and operational objectivesEnsure stage-gate requirements, governance expectations, and regulatory obligations are achievedProvide leadership and oversight across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover activitiesDrive project performance through proactive management of risks, opportunities, changes, and stakeholder interfacesMaintain accountability for project cost, schedule, forecasting, reporting, and funding requirementsLead EPC/EPCM and construction contractor relationships to achieve project objectivesInfluence key business, technical, and execution decisions through effective stakeholder engagementPresent project performance, recommendations, and risks to leadership and governance forumsEnsure operational readiness and successful transition of completed facilities to OperationsFoster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and execution excellence across project teamsLocation and Key Details:You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W. or work out of our Base Plant location in Fort McMurrayHours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needsOccasional travel to EP stakeholder offices, project sites, vendor shops, or fabrication facilities as required by the specific project or portfolioOur business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will be based on years of experience and scope of workThink we are a fit?
