Drive and supervise children with Active Start Childcare as a Bus Driver for our Out of School Care program in Calgary. Engage with students during field trips and ensure safety during pick-ups and drop-offs.
Active Start Childcare is seeking a Bus Driver experienced in driving buses for daycare or school settings. The ideal candidate will hold a Class 2 driver's license with an 'S' endorsement and possess solid communication skills. Experience working with children is highly valued to foster positive relationships during daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive children to and from school daily
• Supervise during pick-up and drop-off activities
• Engage with children during field trips
• Cultivate relationships with families and colleagues
• Follow Alberta Child Care regulations and facility policies
Requirements:
• Class 2 driver's license with an 'S' endorsement
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Childcare experience is a plus
• Level 1, 2 or 3 Child Care Certification preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
