Manitoulin Transport is seeking independent owner operators to support their transportation needs. As a qualified operator, you'll deliver linehaul services while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes safety and reliability, with work generally required across five days or nights each week, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver linehaul services using your current model truck
• Ensure pre and post-trip inspections of all equipment
• Load and unload freight as needed during dock services




• Meet performance standards outlined in service contracts
• Maintain business flexibility and operational readiness
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 license and 1 year of driving experience
• Understanding of Hours of Service regulations
• Forklift ticket and deck experience are assets
• WCB Coverage must be provided for operators
• Criminal record check and driver's abstract required
