As part of the Emergency team in the Mental Health Reassessment and Observation Unit, you will provide critical mental healthcare and assessment to patients. This full time position requires at least three years of recent acute mental health experience and a robust grasp of crisis intervention techniques. You’ll work closely with an ED nurse to maintain patient well-being and deliver tailored care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop care plans
• Provide crisis intervention strategies in the Emergency Department




• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on mental health resources
• Offer support to nursing staff in mental healthcare delivery
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years in acute mental health settings
• Experience in Emergency Department preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active registration with CRNM or CRPNM
