Flexibility in scheduling for after-school presentations is essential to collaborate with classroom teachers and conduct literacy assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Travel weekly to multiple schools including Tumbler Ridge • Assist in literacy assessments for students • Lead career development workshops for educators • Collaborate with classroom teachers on literacy strategies • Support Literacy Resource Teachers in schools
Requirements: • Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate • Master’s degree with focus on literacy • Experience in K-3 literacy teaching • Solid understanding of research-based literacy strategies • Ability to work independently and in teams
