This Family Physician role is pivotal in a team-based environment emphasizing both Western and Traditional wellness practices. You'll manage a client panel of approximately 650 by year three, while traveling to various community sites for appointments. Collaboration and cultural humility are essential for delivering holistic care that respects the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive primary care to clients
• Support traditional wellness practices alongside Western medicine
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary health team
• Travel to community sites for appointments
• Maintain a culturally safe setting for clients
Requirements:
• Active license with the College of Physicians of BC
• Training in Cultural Safety & Humility preferred
• Experience working with First Nations communities
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
