Join Elk Valley Resources as an Electrical Engineer focused on mine maintenance in beautiful British Columbia. Support reliability and improve electrical systems in our coal processing facilities.

This position reports to the Electrical Superintendent at Elk Valley Resources. You will provide essential engineering support for electrical systems, including high and low-voltage infrastructure. Collaboration with operations and maintenance teams will be key to enhancing plant performance while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:



• Adhere to health and safety policies and programs • Support fixed electrical infrastructure and plant systems • Develop preventative and predictive maintenance strategies • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and company standards • Lead reliability improvement initiatives for equipment

Requirements: • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering • Minimum three years of experience in Electrical Engineering • Previous heavy industry experience preferred • Eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
