As a full time Buyer, you will focus on sourcing and qualifying suppliers for our factory production needs in volumetric modular construction. Collaborating closely with engineering and program management teams, you will enhance product designs while ensuring cost efficiency and reliability in supplier performance. Your role is pivotal in addressing market trends and developing strategies that optimize our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage with vendors in modular construction • Negotiate supplier agreements for competitive pricing • Understand cost drivers and market trends • Develop contingency plans for key suppliers • Ensure quality supply to prevent production downtime
Requirements: • 5+ years of sourcing experience in manufacturing • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems • Robust negotiation and analytical skills • Ability to read technical drawings • Effective time management and problem-solving skills
