About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership in support of the organization's long-term objectives. The CFO will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, overseeing all financial management aspects, including planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and capital management. This role is pivotal in the company's expansion, particularly in the context of strategic acquisitions, infrastructure investment, and cross-border growth. The ideal candidate will be a forward-looking finance leader with a background in complex, operationally intensive environments, and experience in leading significant financial and reporting systems upgrades, including ERP implementations.
The CFO will also be a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing the insight necessary for decision-making and supporting sustainable value creation.
The successful CFO at the company will be responsible for leading a significant systems modernization effort to enhance financial visibility and support operational decision-making. This requires a leader who can assess risk, support long-term planning, and partner effectively with executive leadership, while remaining practical and hands-on in execution. A collaborative leadership style, strong interpersonal skills, and a long-term orientation are essential, as the company values a family-owned, values-driven culture. The role is based in Burnaby, British Columbia, and offers a compelling opportunity for a senior finance executive to contribute to the next chapter of a well-established organization with a strong foundation and transparent values.
