Shifts: Day Shift (Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Friday 6:45 am to 3:15 pm).
Compensation: $30 to $34, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Program and/or operate CMM for inspection of precision machined components.
- Complete first-off and in-process inspections independently.
- Use appropriate manual inspection tools, fixtures and indicators.
- Generate and prepare CMM reports and AS9102 First Article Inspection reports.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience
- 5+ years' experience required (10+ years preferred).
- Capable of using CMM programming and operating software.
- Familiarity with CMM Manager software preferred.
- Certificate of qualification, college degree or other training in mechanical inspection an asset.
- Set-up and operation of manual CMM an asset.
- Previous aerospace experience preferred.
- Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
