Join Our Team as a CNC Machinist – Vertical Milling!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is looking for a CNC Machinist – Vertical Milling to join our talented Tool & Gage team in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. We are hiring for a swing shift or steady night shift position.

If you are passionate about machining precise components for innovative tools, jigs, fixtures, and gages, this opportunity is for you. Both challenging and rewarding, this position will require you to collaborate with other skilled machinists and toolmakers to deliver high‑quality results for our customers.

What You’ll Get To Do

- Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs), including selecting, installing, and adjusting tooling and fixtures.
- Load and secure raw materials and workpieces according to setup specifications and engineering requirements.
- Create, modify, verify, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software; adjust machine offsets as required.
- Perform first‑piece inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges, to verify setup and program accuracy.
- Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets to maintain product quality, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, collaborating with supervisors and quality personnel to resolve non‑conformances and improve processes.
- Complete production, inspection, and machine performance documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication while adhering to all safety and quality standards.
- Support prototype, low‑volume,



and production machining projects while contributing to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, scrap reduction, and productivity initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience: 4+ years of machining experience
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Programming knowledge of Mastercam or Lemoine
- Strong safety focus with attention to detail for precise machining

The expected compensation for this position is $28.00 – $32.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skillset, or location.
