Join the BC Association of Community Response Networks as a Regional Mentor in Fraser Valley West. This role emphasizes community development, education, and support for vulnerable adults in your region.
In this mentorship role, you will provide essential guidance to Community Response Networks (CRNs) in Tri-City, Burnaby, Recent Westminster, and Maple Ridge. The ideal candidate will possess robust community engagement skills and contribute to the safety and inclusion of vulnerable adults. Your efforts will be critical as you foster partnerships and facilitate workshops while working directly with CRN Coordinators and local stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support existing CRNs through regular communications • Assist in developing community protocols for coordinated responses • Promote awareness of abuse, neglect, and self-neglect • Help with funding applications and reporting • Conduct outreach to build relationships with community agencies
Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in social or health sciences • Minimum five years working with CRNs • Solid community engagement and leadership skills • Knowledge of abuse impact on vulnerable adults • Willingness to engage in allyship with Indigenous Peoples
