Reporting to the Director of Ontario Works, the Human Services Manager leads a diverse team, ensuring compliance and alignment with provincial priorities. Your scope includes planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of essential services. You will work collaboratively with internal and external partners while managing program performance and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead multidisciplinary teams in service delivery • Ensure legislative compliance for social assistance programs • Manage continuous improvement initiatives and performance evaluations • Develop and oversee operating budgets and contracts • Represent the City in community and inter-agency partnerships

Requirements: • University degree in Human Services or related field • Progressive leadership experience in social services • Knowledge of Ontario social assistance legislation • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience managing unionized staff and labour relations
