Become an integral part of our IT Multimedia Administration team by taking on the role of Microcomputer Support Specialist 2. Focus on first-level user support and multimedia problem resolution.
This position requires a proactive approach to addressing software and hardware challenges within multimedia systems. You will respond to user calls, troubleshoot issues, and aid in the setup of audiovisual technologies for team-oriented spaces. Your impact will extend to developing training materials and keeping detailed inventory records for multimedia assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage initial inquiries and resolve multimedia technical issues
• Install, configure, and test current software and equipment
• Support live events with operational setup and troubleshooting




• Liaise with users for support and informal training
• Maintain updated asset inventory data and documentation
Requirements:
• One year certificate in computer science or related field
• Extensive knowledge of audiovisual installations and software
• Experience with ITIL or service management systems is beneficial
• Certification in technologies like Crestron or Biamp is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License for British Columbia is mandatory
