At Maple Leaf Foods, we’re seeking a 4th Class Operating Engineer to join our specialized maintenance team. Your responsibilities will include operating engineering systems such as water, compressed air, and ammonia refrigeration. This role demands routine monitoring, documentation, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:



• Operate and maintain engineering systems including HVAC and refrigeration • Perform routine inspections on boilers and compressors • Develop SOPs for equipment start-up and maintenance • Utilize computerized maintenance systems to log work requests • Monitor building operations through the Siemens Building Automation system

Requirements: • Valid 3rd Class Operating Engineer certificate preferred • Experience with ammonia systems and maintenance reporting • Solid communication skills and teamwork ability • Proficient in SAP and other technical software • Capable of lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs)
