The Midwife takes on an autonomous role, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal care according to the Midwifery Model of Practice. Responsibilities include facilitating continuity of care for clients and their newborns, while following established policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide maternity care in homes, clinics, and hospitals
• Collaborate with teams to ensure quality care




• Refer clients to public health services as needed
• Employ independent judgment and prioritization skills
• Maintain continuity of access to postpartum care
Requirements:
• Graduation from a CMM-approved midwifery program
• Current BLS and NRP certification
• Active registration with the College of Midwives of Manitoba
• Proficient in computer applications
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and insured vehicle
