Responsibilities
- Build forms for concrete
- Cut, shape, and join
- Look for and fix deficiencies
- Build hoarding and other temporary structures
- Check accuracy of work and make adjustments as required
- Study blueprints for work planning
- Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete
- Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
- Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or take appropriate measures
- General site upkeep
Minimum Requirements
- Preference given to Registered Carpenter Apprentices from a recognized provincial training authority
- Non‑ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
- Experience with concrete formwork required
- Certifications: CSTS & WHMIS
- Skid‑steer and zoom‑boom certifications are an asset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
