In this pivotal role, you will lead the accounting function of the Residential division at Avenue Living, where integrity and innovation are at the core. You will manage bank reconciliations and treasury operations while supervising monthly and yearly accounting activities. A focus on process improvement and collaboration with multiple teams ensures the accuracy of our financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations in Canada and the US
• Manage reconciliation processes and resolve discrepancies
• Lead month-end/year-end accounting activities effectively




• Collaborate with teams and auditors for compliance
• Provide leadership and training to accounting team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Robust knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Yardi Voyager is an asset
