FRENCH VERSION Offre d’emploi : Analyste en assurance qualité logicielle (AQL) – IA générative
Résumé du poste Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) analyste en assurance qualité logicielle (AQL) hautement motivé(e), possédant une forte orientation vers l’intelligence artificielle générative (IA générative) et l’automatisation, afin de se joindre à notre équipe d’ingénierie de la qualité. Dans ce rôle, vous contribuerez à la livraison de logiciels de haute qualité en combinant les pratiques traditionnelles d’assurance qualité avec des techniques de test augmentées par l’IA, contribuant ainsi à l’évolution vers une ingénierie de la qualité orientée agents (Agentic Quality Engineering) et une automatisation intelligente des tests. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes Produit, Développement et DevOps afin de concevoir, exécuter et améliorer en continu les stratégies de test tout au long du cycle de développement logiciel (SDLC).
Principales responsabilités (Alignées avec les standards QA internes et les attentes du rôle)
- Analyser les exigences et les récits utilisateurs afin de définir des scénarios de test complets et des stratégies de couverture.
- Concevoir, exécuter et maintenir des cas de test manuels et automatisés pour les tests fonctionnels, de régression, d’intégration et système.
- Réaliser des tests exploratoires, négatifs et ad hoc afin d’identifier les cas limites et les anomalies.
- Documenter, suivre et gérer les anomalies tout au long de leur cycle de vie à l’aide d’outils QA (p. ex. Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail).
- Collaborer avec les développeurs afin de reproduire les problèmes et valider les correctifs.
- Contribuer à la planification des tests, à l’estimation des efforts et aux activités de validation des versions.
Responsabilités liées à l’IA générative et à l’assurance qualité intelligente
- Utiliser des outils d’IA générative (p. ex. GitHub Copilot, assistants IA) pour accélérer la génération de cas de test, la création de données de test, le développement de scripts d’automatisation.
- Utiliser l’IA pour identifier les candidats à l’automatisation et optimiser les suites de tests de régression.
- Valider et évaluer les résultats et artefacts générés par l’IA afin d’en assurer l’exactitude et l’exhaustivité.
- Contribuer à des stratégies de test pilotées par l’IA, notamment : l’automatisation auto-réparatrice (self-healing), la priorisation des tests basée sur le risque, la prédiction intelligente des anomalies (le cas échéant).
- Explorer et adopter en continu les outils d’IA émergents afin d’améliorer l’efficacité et la qualité des activités QA.
- Utiliser l’IA générative pour accélérer la conception des tests, la documentation, l’analyse des anomalies et l’analyse des causes racines.
- Créer des prompts et des flux de travail efficaces afin de générer des cas de test, scripts de test et données de test de haute qualité.
- Contribuer à l’évaluation et à la sélection des outils et technologies d’IA émergents en ingénierie de la qualité.
Qualifications requises
- Baccalauréat en informatique ou domaine connexe, ou expérience équivalente.
- 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en assurance qualité logicielle dans un environnement Agile.
- Solide expérience dans : la conception et l’exécution de cas de test, les tests fonctionnels et de régression, la gestion du cycle de vie des anomalies.
- Expérience pratique des outils de gestion de tests et de suivi des anomalies (p. ex. Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail).
- Bonne compréhension du SDLC, du STLC et des processus de livraison logicielle.
- Excellentes compétences analytiques, en résolution de problèmes et en communication.
- Familiarité avec les techniques de prompt engineering pour la génération et la validation de tests.
- Compréhension des concepts d’agents IA, de leurs flux de travail et de leurs applications en ingénierie de la qualité.
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
- Capacité à travailler en mode hybride, incluant une présence au bureau à Sherbrooke.
Compétences en IA générative et automatisation (essentielles)
- Expérience pratique des outils d’IA générative (p. ex. GitHub Copilot, assistants IA) dans les workflows QA.

ENGLISH VERSION Job Posting: Software Quality Assurance Analyst (GenAI-Enabled)
Role Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst with a strong Generative AI (GenAI) and automation mindset to join our Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software by combining traditional QA practices with AI-augmented testing techniques, helping drive the transformation toward Agentic Quality Engineering and intelligent test automation. You will collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to design, execute, and continuously improve testing strategies across the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities (Aligned with your internal QA standards and role expectations)
- Analyze requirements and user stories to define comprehensive test scenarios and coverage strategies.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases across functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Perform exploratory, negative, and ad-hoc testing to uncover edge cases and defects.
- Document, track, and manage defects through the full lifecycle using QA tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail).
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Contribute to test planning, estimation, and release validation activities.
GenAI & Intelligent QA Responsibilities
- Leverage GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI assistants) to accelerate: Test case generation, Test data creation, Automation script development.
- Use AI to identify automation candidates and optimize regression suites.
- Validate and evaluate AI-generated outputs and test artifacts for accuracy and completeness.
- Contribute to AI-driven testing strategies, including: Self-healing test automation, Risk-based test prioritization, Intelligent defect prediction (where applicable).
- Continuously explore and adopt emerging AI tools to improve QA efficiency and effectiveness.
- Use Generative AI tools to accelerate test design, test documentation, defect analysis, and root cause investigation.
- Create effective prompts and workflows to generate high-quality test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Contribute to the evaluation and selection of emerging AI tools and technologies for Quality Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in software QA in Agile environments.
- Robust experience in: Test case design and execution, Functional and regression testing, Defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and release processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques for test generation and validation.
- Understanding of AI agent concepts, workflows, and practical applications within Quality Engineering.
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with some in-office presence in Sherbrooke.
GenAI & Automation Skillset (Must-Have)
- Practical experience using GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI assistants) in QA workflows.
- Ability to integrate AI into: Test design and execution, Automation workflows.
- Working knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Understanding of API testing and data validation (SQL preferred).
- Ability to stay current with evolving AI technologies and apply them in day-to-day testing.
