About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of advancing compassionate, accessible end-of-life care. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future of hospice and palliative care in the region, with a focus on expanding bed capacity and working towards a freestanding hospice facility. This hands-on leadership role requires a community-centered leader with experience in guiding organizations through periods of transition, particularly in the non-profit sector. The Executive Director will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership, advancing advocacy for expanded palliative care, and serving as a visible ambassador for hospice and palliative care. They should be comfortable with multi-layered decision-making and have a proven track record in fundraising, including donor relations, grant development, and partnership-building. The role also involves ensuring financial stewardship, supporting Board effectiveness, and remaining deeply connected to the community's needs and culture.
