Position Summary

We have a permanent, part time (0.80 FTE) Occupational Therapist opening in North Hills Care Centre.

Days of work: Monday to Friday with alternate Monday off

Shift times: 08:00 to 16:00

About this position

This position is part of the South Shore Home Health Occupational Therapy Services team. As the Occupational Therapy you'll visit and work in clients’ homes. You may need to utilize your vehicle for travel within Kamloops. South Shore Home Health also serves a few outlining communities (Barriere, Chase, Logan Lake & Ashcroft)



and you can utilize Interior Health Fleet vehicles for this travel.

In this role, you’ll use your qualified expertise and independent judgment while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to deliver meaningful occupational therapy in the community care settings. Guided CHCPBC standards, you’ll assess clients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prescribe equipment, and provide education and consultation to clients and their caregivers—all with the goal of supporting functional independence and optimal health outcomes. You’ll also play an active part in shaping programs, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, research, and education, while providing work direction to rehabilitation assistants to support protected and effective transfer of function.
