Elk Valley Resources is hiring a Senior Engineer, Electrical, in office to support the maintenance and reliability of electrical systems. This position involves working with electric shovels, drills, and substations to boost safety and operational performance. Collaboration with maintenance and project teams is essential to improve equipment reliability and implement engineering solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering support for mining electrical systems
• Develop preventative maintenance strategies and compliance measures
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting on high-voltage systems
• Manage asset health and plan long-term solutions
• Implement reliability improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• At least 3 years in Electrical Engineering roles
• Experience in heavy industry
• Eligible for Qualified Engineer registration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office® and AutoCAD
