Join the Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC) as a Registered Nurse in London. In this integral role, you will provide direct nursing care, facilitate care planning, and develop health promotion strategies for Indigenous clients.
As an RN, you will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver culturally protected and holistic health services. This position requires effective time management and a commitment to understanding and respecting Indigenous cultural principles. Regular travel to support community health initiatives may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate development and implementation of care plans
• Advocate for community health and wellness
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments
• Deliver education and health promotion initiatives
• Collaborate with community resources for client support
Requirements:
• Active RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum three years’ experience in community settings
• Robust leadership and ethical commitment
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Willingness to participate in cultural safety training
