This permanent, full time role at CPAWS-BC seeks a Communications Specialist to enhance conservation outreach. Work closely with the conservation team to craft social media, website, and print materials that align with organizational goals. You will engage diverse audiences, embed DEIJ principles into content, and monitor communication effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and execute tailored communication strategies to grow CPAWS-BC's supporter base • Develop compelling digital content that highlights conservation initiatives • Create written materials,
including press releases and blog posts • Manage social media profiles and engage community followers • Ensure all materials are accessible to diverse audiences
Requirements: • Experience in communications, public relations, or nonprofit sectors • Proven track record in developing communication projects • Robust skills in graphic design and digital content creation • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to agile environments
