Child Care Provider – Private Home (Akash)

Preference for this position will be given to Canadians, permanent residents, recent immigrants, indigenous peoples, vulnerable youth, older workers and people with disabilities with appropriate experience.

Work Location Information: Work in employer’s/client’s home

Additional Skills
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Specific Skills
Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
Organize activities such as games and outings for children




Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Supervise and care for children
Tend to emotional well-being of children
Maintain a secure and healthy workplace in the home

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
