In this newly created position, you will report directly to the CFO and develop the finance function from the ground up. Responsibilities include transitioning to monthly financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and overseeing daily accounting operations. Your expertise will help establish accounting processes and mentor an internal team as the company moves away from outsourced solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the shift to monthly financial reporting
• Build scalable accounting processes and policies




• Own financial reporting and month-end close
• Partner with external accountants for timely reporting
• Mentor an internal accounting team for future growth
Requirements:
• CPA designation or equivalent qualification
• 8+ years of financial reporting experience
• Public company reporting experience required
• Background in mining or capital-intensive industries
• Advanced Excel and systems aptitude
