The position requires working 8-hour shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preoperative patient assessments
• Educate patients on surgical processes and recovery
• Monitor recovery from anesthesia in PACU
• Manage vital signs and pain control
• Collaborate with surgical teams for secure recovery
Requirements:
• Current RN Certificate of Registration
• Minimum two years critical care experience
• BCLS and ACLS certification
• PACU Certificate (to be obtained within 6 months)
• Critical Care or Emergency Department Certification
