This permanent, full-time position is on the Subacute Unit within the Mental Health and Addictions department, serving children and youth under 19. You will conduct evidence-based assessments and deliver individualized therapy in a team-oriented setting. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care while implementing measurement-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver holistic assessments and evidence-based treatments
• Collaborate within an interprofessional team for care
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy
• Consult with community service providers and staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Ph.D./PsyD in Clinical Psychology required
• Registered with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners
• Minimum one year of full time predoctoral residency
• Experience in child/adolescent mental health care
• Solid organizational and critical thinking skills
