Treetops Montessori Preschool is seeking a Creative Montessori Teacher in West Vancouver to manage a classroom of enthusiastic young learners. The role combines teaching and leadership in a joyful setting starting September 2024.
As a full-time educator, you will lead Montessori and play-based activities for children aged 2.5–5 years while guiding a team of three other teachers. Your role will emphasize building positive relationships with students and parents. Candidates should possess a Montessori Diploma and an ECE certificate, along with a genuine love for teaching and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee classroom activities and team management
• Implement diverse learning experiences like crafts and outdoor play




• Facilitate effective communication among parents and staff
• Cultivate a warm, inspiring learning environment
• Support assistants in daily educational interactions
Requirements:
• Montessori Diploma (AMI or MACTE certified)
• ECE Diploma with Montessori experience preferred
• Valid certifications for First Aid and CPR
• Criminal Record Check and immunity documentation
• Must live in Vancouver and be able to commute
