As an integral member of our mining team, the Longhole Driller reports to the Underground Supervisor and is responsible for operating mechanized longhole drills and maintaining safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mechanized longhole drill as per guidelines
• Install and set up casing for effective drilling
• Train on tele-operating drills as needed
• Ensure a secure and compliant work environment
• Read and interpret engineering prints precisely
Requirements:
• High School Diploma is mandatory
• At least seven years of mining experience
• Completion of Basic Underground Common Core training required
• Fall arrest training is essential
• Strong understanding of safety protocols
