TRICAN, Canada’s leading pressure pumping company, is seeking a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic for its East Shop in Grande Prairie. In this role, you will ensure safety in operations, service vehicles, and provide guidance to apprentices. Your expertise in heavy-duty mechanics will be key to maintaining high industry standards in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair a fleet of heavy vehicles
• Operate hoists and lifting devices safely
• Diagnose and service vehicles efficiently
• Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with standards
• Mentor less experienced mechanics and apprentices
Requirements:
• Journeyman Certification in Heavy Duty Mechanics
• Field mechanic experience preferred
• Valid Class 1 license preferred
• Robust communication skills, both written and verbal
• Physically fit for heavy lifting tasks
