Pursue academic development as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy in Fall 2026. Contribute to economics and policy courses while gaining paid experience.
Four Graduate Teaching Assistant positions are available at JSGS for the term from September 2 to December 31, 2026. Assist with grading, lead tutorials, and maintain class forums in a cooperative setting. You will report directly to course instructors and work closely with the JSGS administration. This position is suited for graduate students passionate about teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support grading and assessment processes
• Help maintain online course discussion forums
• Provide tutorials on relevant subjects as assigned
• Collaborate and confer with instructors on course delivery
• Assist with additional course matters as required
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in relevant fields such as economics or public administration
• Must be a registered graduate student at the University of Saskatchewan
• Knowledge of public policy issues and practices
• Familiarity with quantitative analysis and financial management
• Teaching Assistant experience preferred but not mandatory
