Become an Investigation and Assessment Worker with North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services in Kirkland Lake. Offer essential child welfare services while working adaptable schedule and showcasing strong communication skills.
In this full time role, you will be a vital member of the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team. Your primary duties include providing preventative and child protection services, conducting risk assessments, and developing protection plans. Solid interpersonal and organizational skills are crucial in completing necessary documentation for case dispositions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide preventative and child protection services
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for families
• Develop and implement protection plans
• Maintain accurate documentation for case evaluation
• Work with children, youth, and families in need
Requirements:
• MSW or BSW preferred, or relevant diploma
• Experience in child welfare services an asset
• Able to understand and apply legislative requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to travel as required
