Join YWCA Hamilton as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, supporting children aged 18 months to 5 years in a nurturing, educational setting on a temporary contract. This role emphasizes collaboration, curriculum implementation, and community engagement.
As a vital part of our Children’s Services team, you will create inclusive programs that align with our values of intersectional feminism and equity. You will ensure safety and development while fostering solid relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
• Create a secure and stimulating environment for children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate programs




• Administer medications per policy
• Maintain accurate documentation of child progress
• Communicate consistently with families and colleagues
Requirements:
• Completion of 2 years’ college in Early Childhood Education
• Registered Early Childhood Educator with the College
• Experience in a licensed care setting preferred
• Current Vulnerable Sector Police check
• Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
