As a Component Engineer / CAD Librarian, you will bridge Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure the reliability of CAD library assets. Responsibilities include creating and validating schematic symbols, developing library maintenance procedures, and supporting engineers with requests. Your skills will significantly impact product lifecycle integrity and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain schematic symbols and PCB footprints • Verify library accuracy through peer reviews and validations • Manage CAD library version control and release processes • Support engineers with library requests and recent component entries • Standardize naming conventions and documentation practices
Requirements: • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience • Proficient in Cadence/Orcad and Mentor Graphics • Understanding of IPC standards for PCB design • Familiarity with PLM systems like Arena or Agile • Solid attention to detail and analytical skills
