Provide crucial support to residents in Kamloops as a Casual Residential Community Living Worker with Connective, a recognized leader in social services.
At Connective, you will engage with individuals facing mental health issues and assist in their daily living needs. This casual position requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure comprehensive care and support for all residents. Your role will significantly contribute to creating a protected and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct counseling sessions for individuals and groups
• Assist residents in meeting daily living objectives
• Provide training in personal care and life skills
• Monitor medication and overall resident safety
• Work with the Case Management Team on personalized care plans
Requirements:
• One year of experience with mental health or developmental disabilities
• Diploma in a related area or similar experience
• Class 5 driver’s license and dependable vehicle
• Mandatory proof of vaccination
• Familiarity with MANDT and CPI is advantageous
