About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function and support a large team of professionals. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with business goals and promotes a culture of high performance and engagement. Key responsibilities include leading the talent acquisition process, designing and administering a competitive total rewards strategy, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation. The role also involves managing the performance system, championing a positive workplace culture, and serving as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on HR matters.

Applicants for the Head of HR position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR,



business administration, or a related field, with at least 7 years' of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years' in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and performance management, as well as in-depth knowledge of Ontario's Employment Standards Act and other relevant legislation. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a dynamic, quick-paced environment. A CHRP or CHRL designation is strongly preferred, and experience in the financial services or asset management industry is a significant asset.
