As a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with Fraser Health, you will provide essential care for clients facing mental health and concurrent disorders. Focus on recovery and client empowerment in a cooperative setting.
This nursing role involves partnering with clients to deliver high-quality, individualized treatment. Your expertise will be critical in assessing mental health needs, developing care plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions. You’ll also play a role in promoting a culturally-protected and trauma-informed approach to client care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams for coordinated care
• Conduct assessments and develop client-centered treatment plans
• Implement crisis interventions and educational sessions
• Support clients in accessing community resources
• Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of client files
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum two years of experience in mental health settings
• Current registration with BCCNM as RN/RPN
• Valid BC Driver’s License and insurance
• Completion of training in substance use may be necessary
