Our client, a leader in financial & tax software, is hiring a
Tax Analyst
to join their team in
Toronto, ON ! This is a 5-month T4 contract with perks and paid holidays. As the
Tax Analyst,
you will leverage your expertise in
Canadian corporate taxation to research, analyze, and support complex tax compliance initiatives related to T2 corporate tax.
You will partner with cross-functional teams to
develop tax content, evaluate product enhancements, and ensure tax solutions remain compliant with evolving Canadian tax legislation. Responsibilities:
Research, analyze, and document complex Canadian corporate tax (T2) issues
and compliance requirements. Partner with product and business teams
to support tax-related product enhancements and technical requirements. Coordinate tax content priorities, project activities, and Agile sprint planning
across cross-functional teams. Develop and maintain tax standards , best practices, and technical documentation. Provide strategic tax analysis and creative solutions
to support compliance and evolving tax legislation. Desired Skills:
5+ years of Canadian corporate tax experience
or post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Hands-on experience preparing and/or reviewing
T2 corporate tax returns
and knowledge of federal and provincial tax regulations. Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
with a deep understanding of Canadian tax law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience with
Canadian tax software
such as
TaxCycle, TaxPrep, or ProFile
