Shape the future of nuclear energy with Aecon as a Deputy Project Director for the Darlington Current Nuclear Project. Leverage your experience to guide project execution safely and effectively.
This leadership role focuses on ensuring that project performance aligns with quality and contract requirements. With more than 15 years in large-scale energy or construction projects, you will work closely with the Project Director and various teams to establish schedules, monitor costs, and manage project risks. You will lead efforts in constructability reviews, execute recovery plans, and facilitate explicit communication across all functions for successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee project collaboration between stakeholders • Maintain detailed project schedules and cost forecasts • Ensure compliance with DNNP execution readiness • Address site execution challenges and variances • Document and implement lessons learned in project planning
Requirements: • Minimum of 15 years in EPC or large construction projects • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience • In-depth knowledge of project management and controls • Proven ability to lead without direct authority • Experience with Primavera P6 and related training
