Become a vital part of Purolator as a Linehaul Driver in Burnaby, British Columbia. This role focuses on delivering freight efficiently and safely while meeting customer expectations.
You will be expected to operate different company vehicles and equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts. The role requires at least three years of Class 1 driving experience and mandates flexibility with varying shift hours. Problem resolution during transit and conducting vehicle inspections are key tasks in maintaining operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport freight between customer locations and depots
• Operate trucks and material handling equipment carefully
• Manage timely delivery and pickup of freight
• Scan freight during loading and unloading
• Conduct vehicle inspections before/after every trip
Requirements:
• Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving history
• 3 years of driving experience with similar vehicles
• Familiarity with GPS tracking technology
• English proficiency for stakeholder communication
• Capability to work on the road and in a warehouse
