Enhance your nursing skills at Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Operating Room. This part time role involves direct patient care and teamwork within a collaborative setting.

As an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, you will coordinate quality patient care while adhering to policies at our Stratford and Clinton locations. This position requires a current Ontario RN registration, Operating Room Nurse Certificate, and Basic Life Support certification. You will be pivotal in assessing patient needs and implementing care plans.

Key Responsibilities:



• Assess and identify patient needs within the Operating Room • Implement and monitor patients' medical plans • Educate patients and families on care processes • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team • Respond appropriately to emergencies during shifts

Requirements: • Valid Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Operating Room Nurse Certificate from a recognized program • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Ability to manage standby/on-call duties • Two years of recent perioperative experience preferred
