You’ll join the Talent Acquisition and Classification unit, offering vital support in job analysis and employee classification. Responsibilities include evaluating job positions, conducting position audits, and writing classification reports. Moreover, you will guide agency leaders on HR strategy and mentor other HR employees in classification areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive job evaluation and consultation • Audit positions for accurate employee classification • Write and issue formal classification determinations • Participate in job classification studies and evaluations • Mentor HR staff on effective classification practices
Requirements: • 2+ years of HR experience for Specialist 2 • 3+ years for Specialist 3, with job classification experience • Bachelor’s degree in HR related field • Familiarity with job evaluation systems • Understanding of employment classification laws
