Job Title: Operations Support

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months Contract with possible extension

What You’ll Do
Optimize Marketplace Health: Monitor and analyze key operational metrics (e.g., delivery times, order cancellation rates, courier supply, and restaurant preparation bottlenecks) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Merchant & Partner Support: Act as an operational escalation point for high-value enterprise and SMB (Small/Medium Business) restaurant partners, troubleshooting technical, logistical, or financial issues.
Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps in the onboarding or delivery lifecycle. Design, test, and scale localized processes to improve efficiency.
Data-Driven Problem Solving: Use tools like Excel and SQL to extract marketplace insights, build dashboards, and turn raw data into actionable recommendations for the senior operations team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Marketing teams to launch new features, implement promotional campaigns, and expand regional merchant selection.

Basic Qualifications
Experience:



1–3 years of skilled experience in operations, customer success, logistics, consulting, project management, or a quick-paced tech setting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (vlookups, pivot tables, data modeling).

Preferred Qualifications
Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL (ability to write/modify queries to pull data) is highly preferred.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to balance internal tech jargon with empathetic, explicit external partner support.
Growth Mindset: Ability to thrive in a chaotic, fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity. You are a self-starter who looks for solutions rather than waiting for instructions.
Local Insight: Deep familiarity with the Toronto/Canadian food beverage or logistics landscape is a strong asset.
