Responsibilities:
Ensure the protected delivery of goods to various locations, including customer warehouses, ports, and intermodal terminals.
Perform pre and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure its proper and safe condition.
Keep logs of their activities as well as the vehicle statuses, including mileage, applications of brakes, and rest periods to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, other drivers, and customers to share information about routes, schedules, delays, and cargo.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, considering traffic and weather conditions.
Provide regular updates to the dispatch team and maintain skilled communication with customers.

Qualifications:
Valid Class A DL with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a department of transport health check,



drug test, and criminal background check.
Exceptional driving skills and knowledge of road safety.
Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo safely, if required.
Good time management skills with the ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
