You will oversee the delivery and improvement of public health inspection services in the Health Authority. This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health, certifications in public health inspection, and a Class 5 driver's license. As part of your responsibilities, you will work in various facilities including restaurants, accommodations, and water systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor public health compliance in multiple facilities
• Conduct inspections in food establishments and recreational areas




• Investigate environmental tobacco smoke complaints
• Ensure adherence to public health regulations
• Report findings to the Manager of Environmental Protection Services
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health
• Certification as a Public Health Inspector
• Basic Life Support Certificate
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Willingness to travel for inspections
